JYHS has achieved the LGBT Youth Scotland Silver Charter.

LGBTQ+ Social (Wednesday Lunch, Library)

Open to LGBTQ+ pupils and allies. Join us for lunch in a safe and inclusive environment.

Pride Week

Every June we have a Pride week and host our own Pride Event Day where pupils have a chance to celebrate and consult on policies and plans.

Our LGBTQ+ Champions are Mrs. Pirie (House Head) and Mrs. Wilson (Librarian) if you need someone to talk to they can help or you can speak to any member of staff you feel comfortable with.
