Study Support 2020 - Twilight Class Programme

14 January
Study

As a school we are committed to ensuring we support our students to achieve success in their qualifications - not only through every day learning and teaching but also through our annual supported study programme. We have put together a programme of twilight classes in a number of National 5, Higher and Advanced Higher subjects.

The classes will commence the week beginning Monday 27 January and will run until Friday 3 April.

Two forms will need to be completed if doing both Higher/Advanced Higher and National 5 qualifications.

Please complete the forms by  Friday 24 January 2020.

These twilight classes will be run by our own teaching staff and will revise and reinforce the course work covered in class and will give additional practice to exam type questions. Pupil focus groups this session suggested they would like to know the topics in advance for each session and also to have some opportunities for general supported study sessions. Our programme for this session outlines we have included both.

There will be no cost to the students for these classes. When a student signs up for a class they will be expected to attend each session. However, where there is a "clash" of subjects, students may alternate between subjects. A register will be taken at every class. Please note, however, that classes may not run unless sufficient pupils sign up to a class.

There will be a short assembly on Wednesday 22 January - straight after prelims to outline the twilight class opportunity.
