Sports Passport (after school sport programme)

The after schools sport programme offers a range of activities and opportunities for all our students. A timetable of the current activities can be found  here (PDF) [343KB] (opens new window)

Pupils who wish to take part in any of the clubs and teams will require a SPORTS PASSPORT. This will enable them to take part in any of the activities for the school year providing they show the coach their Sports Passport once they receive it.

The cost of the Sports Passport is £10 allowing students to participate in the clubs/teams from August 2018 - June 2019. Those who are attending football only will be exempt from the passport scheme due to travel expenses they will be required to pay throughout the year.

*Please Note - If your child is entitled to free school meals they are not required to pay the £10 for the passport but should still complete and return the application form.

Pupils should check regularly with the staff in charge of the activity and pay attention to notices in the morning bulletin to keep them up to date with any changes.

Please return the  School-Sports-Passport-Application (PDF) [1MB] (opens new window)  as soon as possible.  You may not get your passport card right away but in the meantime it is still ok to attend the clubs. Please check when each clubs starts and note that some dates still have to be confirmed.

ALL FORMS AND MONEY (cheques payable to The James Young High School) MUST BE RETURNED TO THE SCHOOL OFFICE.  A RECEIPT WILL BE ISSUED TO EVERY PUPIL WHO RETURNS THEIR FORM AND MONEY.
