JYHS LGBTQ+ Support Group

 LGBT stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender.

The JYHS LGBTQ+ Support Group is for pupils who identify as LGBT or would like to support friends and family who identify as LGBT. Weekly meetings are very informal, offering support to LGBT young people and providing a forum to share information.

Mrs. Wilson (Librarian) and Mrs. Pirie attend the meetings.

There is also an Edmodo group (LGBT Support Group) that pupils can join.

This group is separate to the JYHS Mission Respect Group, however there may be occasions when both groups will work together.
